Transfer information: AC Milan & Brazil celebrity Lucas Paqueta reacts to PSG hyperlinks

The Selecao playmaker is reportedly a target for the Ligue 1 champions despite just moving to Serie A at January

AC Milan and Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta insists he’s concentrated on his potential at San Siro even though transfer rumours linking him with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain. 

The 21-year old just transferred to Serie A last January after finishing a big-money transfer out of Flamengo, but his evident talent has attracted about speculation linking him with a movement to Parc des Princes. 

Paqueta acquired a Copa America winner’s trophy on Sunday following the Selecao finished a 3-1 victory over Peru to become crowned champions for the first time because 2007. 

The playmaker just made one appearance in the contest, coming on as a late replacement at the quarter-final penalty shootout win over Paraguay.

A go to PSG may see him join with fellow Ray Neymar, who’ll unite the Ligue 1 winners for their happy-go-lucky trainings on July 15, based on his dad, after he didn’t look for club responsibilities on Monday. 

However, Paqueta is unphased by the rumours surrounding himand informed Target: “It is [the links with PSG] just speculation. I am very happy at Milan, I have just arrived and I am adapting. I’d like to get a fantastic season so that I can grow in my profession ”

Paqueta exhibited his technical skill on a range of events for Milan near the end of last year and became an immediate hit with fans.

The Brazil international played a rainbow film on his daring Serie A debut against Genoa, also proceeded on to create a total of 13 league looks. 

And Selecao legend Zico believes Paqueta has no lack of potential.

“Paqueta is a little phenomenon,” the former Udinese participant told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He was able to not be crushed from the contrast with Kaka, among Milan’s legends. He’s everything to be a leading player immediately.

“He’s a number 8, he’s not an attacking midfielder. He likes to start out of gain momentum at the opponent’s penalty area. He can score a lot of goals because he’s also great with his mind. Over time that he will help Milan come back to the struggle for the Scudetto.”

Paqueta could go back to Milan to their pre-season fittings against Bayern Munich, Benfica and Manchester United.
