Tottenham defender Serge Aurier’s brother killed after capturing in France

The brother of Tottenham defender Serge Aurier was shot dead in Toulouse in the early hours of Monday morning.

Christopher Aurier, 26, was hit by two gun shots in the abdomen not far from a nightclub in the west suburbs of the city.

The killer fled the scene before the police and the emergency services arrived on an industrial estate where the shooting happened.

Aurier was taken to hospital however couldn’t be saved. An investigation has been launched and the police are asking for potential witnesses or individuals with data to return ahead.

A Spurs assertion learn: “The membership is deeply saddened to verify media experiences that Serge Aurier’s brother handed away within the early hours of this morning.

“We’re supporting Serge at this tough time and we ask that the privateness of the participant and his household is revered.

“Everyone on the membership sends their sincerest condolences to Serge and his household. Our ideas are with all of them.”

Aurier’s youthful brother was on the Lens academy together with his sibling and performed for Toulouse Rodeo in France’s fifth division
