20 Jul Salomon Rondon transfer information: Former Newcastle loanee Equipped with Rafa Benitez as he unites Yannick Carrasco & Marek Hamsik in Dalian Yifang in #16.5m bargain
The Venezuela global striker has chosen to take on a brand new obstacle in China despite attracting attention from Premier League clubs
Salomon Rondon has completed a transfer to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang, together with all the prior Newcastle loanee being reunited with Rafa Benitez after departing West Brom.
The Venezuela global striker needed a #16.5 million ($21m) release clause in his contract with the Baggies.
A range of clubs have been reported to be considering tripping that and procuring the help of a recognized 29-year old striker.
Newcastle was expecting to find a guy who listed 12 targets for them last year through a successful loan spell yield to St James’ Park on a permanent basis.
Premier League rivals West Ham were heavily linked with a move for the South American since they search further firepower.
Rondon has, however, opted to shoot on a brand new challenge in Asia using a negative currently handled by his former Magpies manager Benitez.
West Brom announced the move in an announcement on the club official site that read:”Salomon Rondon has now joined Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang to an undisclosed fee.
“The Venezuela worldwide will soon be booted up with Rafa Benitez, who headed Newcastle United during his loan spell at St James’ Park last season.
“Rondon arrived in The Hawthorns in the summer of 2015 and created 120 looks for the Baggies, scoring 28 targets.
“The team wants Salomon and his family all the very best in the long run.”
A change away from the Hawthorns to get Rondon comes as no real surprise, together with all the Baggies still stuck at the Championship.
He listed 28 targets for West Brom around 119 looks but was not able to keep them from slipping from their Premier League at 2017-18.
People from the West Midlands made it obvious at the beginning of the summer which they’d be seeking to discover a buyer to get a participant who’d entered the closing 12 weeks of his contract with the team.

West Brom’s technical manager Luke Dowling said after viewing that the Baggies endure a play-off semi-final defeat to local rivals Aston Villa:”We are quite pleased to state that we’ll market Salomon.
“We do not need a player that has had a year like that remaining around with us walking away on a Bosman.”
While linking up with Benitez again in China, Rondon are also linking a Dalian Yifang squad which includes Belgium global ahead Yannick Carrasco and former Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik.
