Real Madrid celebrity Luka Jovic’desired to become a winner’ for example his sister following conflict with leukemia

The 21-year-old striker disclosed his family went through a challenging period because his sister fought cancer while he had been coaching with Red Star

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic says he had been motivated to pursue his dream of being a successful footballer after viewing his sister conquer leukemia.

The 21-year old grew up in a little city named Batar until he combined Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, sending him on a route to Benfica and Eintracht Frankfurt until he left a $70 million (#62m/$79m) proceed to Madrid in today transfer window.

However, the Serbia international disclosed his journey hasn’t all been easy, as his sister has been diagnosed with a life threatening illness just more than ten years ago.

Seeing her appear victorious from this conflict just invited Jovic to give his all in football, as he states he wished to become”a winner” as well.

“I really don’t speak about this a whole lot, but once I was nine or more 10 years old, my sister got very ill. And that was the second that indicated our own lives,” he informed The Warriors’ Tribune.

“The doctors discovered that she had leukemia, and that she had been in and from the hospital for quite a while. My mom had to quit operating the supermarket to care for her. For a complete year, our family was broken up. I had been living with my father and my grandpa, moving to and from training sessions Red Star Belgrade, while my mother stayed with my sister. 

“It was a really tough moment. What I remember is the feeling once I went home from Belgrade into Batar following a match. 

“One day, while he was giving me a ride home in coaching, my father stopped and picked up my uncle and my cousin. I didn’t understand what was happening at first, but then I realised we had been having a huge bash. 

“We went home and I recall my sister had been sporting this newspaper hat, just like it had been her birthday. They advised us that she had been treated. Plus it was just an wonderful feeling, knowing she was likely to become O.K., since we’d been really scared for quite a while.

“If my sister overcome her ailment, it gave me a passion to be successful. I wished to become a winner just like her”
