Premier League: Man Utd fans keep telling me that they need City to win the league,” says Kyle Walker

The guardian claims that Red Devils fans are financing his team to win the Premier League name

Kyle Walker states that Manchester United fans have made a tradition of coming him and expressing their taste to Manchester City over Liverpool in this season’s title race.

Town are in a tight race with the Reds heading into the year’s final weeks together with Liverpool now keeping a two-point lead with a single additional match played.

This makes Wednesday’s battle between opponents Manchester City and Manchester United even more critical, since the Red Devils signify the toughest competition left on their competitions’ schedule entering the previous four games of their Premier League campaign.

Manchester United are concentrated on that a top four bidding in their own, while Manchester City is much more spent in the Premier League title chase having endured Champions League elimination in the hands of Tottenham.

However, despite Man Utd’s lovers disdain for Liverpool, Walker states that, on the area, he anticipates Wednesday’s derby for a tight one between two of the league’s leading nightclubs.

“United lovers are in a challenging situation obviously,” that the City right-back said.

“When I am out and around or walking my dogs, United lovers are coming to me saying,’We had preferably City win the league compared to Liverpool’.

“It is odd to listen but I will assure you that the United players are not likely to leave a reddish rug and say’Move on Town, score beyond us’.

“They are going to make it hard because it is a match of football plus they are fighting the top-four too so that they want the things.”

Liverpool have been chasing a primary championship for 29 years, along with also the club’s first Premier League title, whereas Machester City have that the chance to become the first club to keep the name in 10 years.

Last year, Manchester United refused City an early coronation if they recovered from 2-0 down in half-time to win 3-2 in the Etihad.

And Walker knows that City will have another battle this time around.

“Clearly we might have won them and they scored two or three good objectives and obtained the victory,” he explained. “This was probably what every United fan wanted with City not winning the title in the Etihad from United.

“We do not owe them because we won them against [3-1] previously in the season but it’s just one for the fans and it is just one for us to get nearer to become the Premier League winners”
