20 Jul Philippe Coutinho transfer information:’He’d face more stress at Liverpool’ – Rivaldo urges Barcelona celebrity to think about his options carefully
The Brazil international playmaker was linked with a return to Anfield, but his fellow countryman considers he might want to stay at Camp Nou
Philippe Coutinho was warned he would face”more stress” back in Liverpool than he does at Barcelona, together with Rivaldo advocating his fellow Brazilian to think about his options carefully.
A return to Anfield was mooted for its 27-year old playmaker later 18 testing weeks in Camp Nou.
A big-money proceed to the Liga winners hasn’t gone as planned, together with Coutinho having faced criticism because of his contribution and form to the collective origin in Catalunya.
It might be that he’s offered the opportunity to return to England, particularly as Barcelona have brought in Antoine Griezmann and keep to research another bargain for Neymar.
Rivaldo, however, is not convinced that Coutinho wants a change and considers heading straight back to Merseyside could really work against his fellow countryman.
The Brazil and Barcelona legend advised Betfair:“We all recognize that Philippe Coutinho played with his finest football in Liverpool, and I believed he could replicate it in Barcelona, but matters have not been going like that.
“The prospect of a return to Liverpool may be advantageous to him, but I am not certain if he’s considering going back to England.
“He would stay at Barcelona to attempt to increase his game and establish his worth, demonstrating that he can undergo this bump in the road.
“He’s coming back out of winning a Copa America name and his confidence is high, so it is difficult to say if he will go or stay.
“I really appreciate his qualities as a participant and believe he’s the time to show his best at Camp Nou this year. Let us wait and watch…
“When he makes the decision to join Liverpool, they’ll become more powerful, but they’re European winners and that is going to add more pressure because of him, because it is hard to acquire it successively.

“It could be a significant challenge for both player and club.
“Rememberthey had been Champions League finalists then winners in successive seasons following Coutinho’s death, therefore if he does return, he will face that additional burden to win prizes for them”
Coutinho stays under contract in Barcelona before 2023, but speak of a transfer to Liverpool or participation in any arrangement to take Neymar back to Camp Nou won’t go away.
