Rumours warmed up even more last weekend, when Kia Joorabchian, representative to Philippe Coutinho, accused the team of trying to negotiate a swap deal of his customer to get Neymar despite assurances from Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu there could not be a sale of this ex-Liverpool man.
Neymar himself added fuel to the flame when he published a movie to Instagram which exhibited a picture of him at a Barca shirt, together with a biblical verse.
The celebrity guy also announced his best footballing memory was part of Barca’s historical Champions League comeback against PSG, although his dad, Neymar Sr., has since stated it wasn’t meant to emphasise the French team.
