Mexico booked its place on the Olympic males’s event after defeating Canada 2-Zero within the semifinal of the CONCACAF qualifying spherical for the 2020 video games in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Sunday.

Chivas’ Uriel Antuna scored his third purpose of the event within the 57th minute after Carlos Rodriguez intercepted a cross from Canada goalkeeper James Pantemis. Johan Vasquez then added a purpose within the 65th when his header rebounded off a put up after which the chest of Canada’s Callum Montgomery.

The opposite representatives from North and Central America and the Caribbean will probably be Honduras, after Los Catrachos upset america 2-1 in Sunday’s different semifinal.

Mexico, the 2012 gold medal winners, will be part of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea and Spain within the draw, which will probably be held in Zurich on April 21.

The event will probably be performed from July 21 to Aug. 7 in Tokyo, Kashima, Miyagi, Saitama, Sapporo and Yokohama.
