13 Jul Marko Arnautovic news: Former West Ham forward strikes out at European press from Shanghai SIPG unveiling
The Austria global felt badly treated throughout his period in Europe and states that he has big aspirations to match in China
Marko Arnautovic insists that he always gives his all and criticised the European press for suggesting otherwise after his move into Shanghai SIPG.
Arnautovic abandoned West Ham on Monday, linking the Chinese Super League winners for a reported fee of 22 million ($28m).
The 30-year old just signed a fresh five-year bargain at London Stadium in January, together with West Ham handing Arnautovic the bumper contract after he originally submitted a transfer petition amid interest by a then unnamed Chinese side.
But, Arnautovic scored only twice after the saga, together with his devotion times called in to question.
However on his demonstration as an SIPG participant, Arnautovic hit back, claiming the media’s portrayal of his mindset is incorrect.
“They don’t train , they don’t play me, however, they simply compose something,” the former Werder Bremen and Stoke City ahead.
“Perhaps that is the attribute of European press, the reality is I always give everything for my team, I never spare myself.
“I am here to work hard, I wish to perform my part so that the club can attain all its objectives.”
Arnautovic is linking former Chelsea playmaker Oscar in SIPG – that currently sit in the Chinese Super League – while ex-Porto celebrity Hulk is also in the club.
“I believe they’re quite good men and women that really wish to help me incorporate into the team, and I feel really welcome,” explained Arnautovic, who’ll wear the number seven championships formerly taken by SIPG’s record goalscorer Wu Lei, today at Espanyol.
“Due to the significance, I feel much more stress,” Arnautovic responded when asked whether he’d have the ability to fill the emptiness left by SIPG’s former superstar winger.

“However, I’m prepared for this challenge to create many targets and aids with this jersey and this amount.”
Arnautovic’s move to China attracts his six-year remain from the Premier League into a finish, the Austria global having initially joined Stoke City out of Werder Bremen in 2013.
West Ham are reportedly eager to fortify their choices in forward regions, together with Gonzalo Higuain and Sebastien Haller one of a set of strikers the Hammers are thinking about signing.
