Manchester United transfer information: Victor Lindelof desired by a’large European team’ amid Barcelona connections

The 24-year-old’s representative allegedly talked to Barca officials in the forefront of Frenkie de Jong, and has revealed an undercover club desires Lindelof

Victor Lindelof is a goal for a”good European team” but may just have the ability to leave Old Trafford if Manchester United allow him, even the Sweden international’s representative has stated. 

Lindelof was linked with a move to Barcelona this summer together with the Catalan club reportededly eyeing him instead at centre-back should they overlook on Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.

And De Ligt currently appearing set to join Juventus before next year, Barca could open discussions with the Red Devils. 

Though Lindelof’s representative, Hasan Cetinkaya, hasn’t mentioned the La Liga side by title, he disclosed there’s interest from the protector.

“Lindelof is on the radar of an excellent European team, but leaving United is based on that the English club,” Centinkaya informed Mundo Deportivo.

The 42-year old is also the representative of Frenkie de Jong, also allegedly spoke to Barca officials concerning the situation of Lindelof if he traveled to Catalunya to the Netherlands midfielder’s demonstration at Camp Nou.

However Lindelof has looked concentrated on acting for Man Utd following year.

The prior Benfica guy last month talked about the team’s mindset entering pre-season preparations.

“Well there is a great deal of excitement naturally, since we have not seen each other for quite a while,” he informed MUTV.

“It is always pleasant to see all of the gamers and you know everybody is just eager to begin again, to work hard and prepare for the season”

The Red Devils are put to get a tricky start to the Premier League season with a match against Chelsea at Old Trafford on the launching afternoon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will want to make an impression in that fixture and Lindelof also emphasized the significance of the introduction of a winter break in the English top flight when looking forward to 2019-20. 

“I think that it’s good really,” the Swede added.

“I presume, when you examine the other nations, they constantly have a winter break and I believe that it’s very important to your mind and the human body too to find just a small amount of rest so that you can keep going and work hard during the season.

“So yeah, I am all for this. I understand in England we have always played with a lot throughout the winter while some have rested a bit, so that I think that it’s going to be great. I believe folks will appreciate it.”
