Manchester United news: Rojo asserts Solskjaer says he’s a portion of their future in the club

The centre-back states the director has assured him an opportunity, which make come when this weekend

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has shown that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees him within his future strategies.

The 29-year-old’s fitness problems this year have restricted him to only three Premier League looks and only one elsewhere – from Valencia in the Champions League.

But, Rojo might have an opportunity to make an impact this weekend when the Red Devils face West Ham since Luke Shaw’s suspension offers an opening on the trunk line. 

Along with also the Argentine has shown new supervisor Solskjaer has assurred him that there’s a purpose for him to perform at the group when he regained his fitness. 

“It has been really good,” Rojo informed MUTV.  

“Ever since he [Ole] came, he has had an unbelievable connection with me.

“When he got here, he said I had been a part of his plans and that he desired me to make myself entirely fit.

“He helped me much since I was coming off a terrible run of injuries and he advised me not to worry and just focus peacefully on making progress in my rehabilitation and recovery.

“This was important to me personally and as I’ve stated, he let me return to Argentina to be together with my loved ones some time, as we did not have some fittings.

“I believe his positive characteristic is how he’s near the players and that he knows them really well too since he had a very long career as a participant himself and he also played a very long time at this club also.

“I believe you could observe that in his thoughts on the way to play the sport and getting back to what United had been earlier. He is very optimistic, always helping and constantly giving guidance.”

The protector is anticipating the challenges facing the Red Devils between today and the end of the year as they struggle to get a top-four place and improbable Champions League glory. 

“There are not many games left,” additional Rojo. “However they do come fast after another. I believe we’ve about a month and a little left of nothing but fits, which will be a great deal of fun between now and the conclusion of the season.

“We have got lots of major stuff before us plus a few critical challenges which we’re still competing for this, yeah, it is fantastic!”
