09 Oct Lucas Hernandez news:’If he is here, it implies he is fit to perform’ – Benjamin Pavard speaks on Bayern-France row
The German giants as well as World Cup holders have been included in a spat over a guardian who’s fit to play Les Blues, according to a club colleague
Lucas Hernandez would just join with France’s nationwide team when he had been fully fit, states Bayern Munich team-partner Benjamin Pavard, that had been unwilling to become embroiled in the club-versus-country row.
Versatile defender Hernandez was called up by Les Bleus for upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Iceland and Turkey despite overlooking Bayern’s previous two Bundesliga matches with a knee injury.
Bayern were advised from the French Football Federation (FFF) who Hernandez would need to go to Paris for clinical tests following the club originally refused to let him join with the federal team.
Sporting manager Hasan Salihamidzic described himself as”annoyed” by the FFF’s position and Bayern physician Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt stated Hernandez wouldn’t be fit to perform.
France coach Didier Deschamps said he sympathised with Bayern’s worries, but refused to rule out the chance of Hernandez confronting Iceland in Reykjavik on Friday.
Club and global team-partner Pavard stated he’s been ensured by Hernandez he’s great state, though preferred to not take sides in the row.
“If he is here, it usually means he’s healthy. Bayern did not wish to take any chances,” he told a news conference.
“He informs me everything is nice. After, what happens between Bayern and the France team, it is not my issue.
“If he belongs on X-rays, I do not understand what Lucas has on his or her knees!
“He said that he can perform on leg. It is Lucas, all of us know he is a warrior. If he is here, he could perform.”
Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has promised that Hernandez should be spared global responsibility, stating:”I’m irritated by the behavior of the French federation.

“I want to point out that Lucas Hernandez was unable to play in the Champions League game against Tottenham Hotspur last Tuesday at London, nor at our Bundesliga game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday.
“The announcement offered by France coach Didier Deschamps was for Lucas Hernandez to be prepared to’play one leg’, which was quite surprising to us.
“Of the four asked French national gamers, clearly, we’ll send the 3 healthful players Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso and Benjamin Pavard.”
