The son of one of football’s most important names has discovered playing time difficult to find from the Spanish funds

Luca Zidane anticipates away time from Real Madrid to help his development as he embarks upon a season-long loan in Racing Santander.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper made the movement on Tuesday after dropping sight of a first-team place under daddy and head trainer Zinedine.

Produced in Marseille, Luca came through the ranks in the Santiago Bernabeu, initially linking Madrid’s childhood side back 2004.

Playing the Castilla facet, the’keeper created 49 looks in Segunda Division B and has existed a number of football’s greats since he moved through to the club’s academy system.

Zidane created one senior appearance for Madrid last year, beginning in a 3-2 triumph over Huesca in March, and 2 primary -team looks in total.

A former youth worldwide, Zidane represented France in their own Beneath -16 side all the way through to U20 degree.

Racing will kick off their Segunda Division effort with home battle against fellow pupil La Liga side Malaga on July 17 in Campos de Sport de El Sardinero.
