Manuel Pellegrini is pleased to see Adrian producing a direct impact at Liverpool but might have liked to have retained the goalkeeper in West Ham.
Adrian abandoned London Stadium as a free agent at the end of last year and spent the summer from job, at one stage, training using a semi-professional club at his homeland of Spain.
But close to the close of the window, Adrian signed for European champions Liverpool, substituting Simon Mignolet as Alisson’s back-up.
