Valencia have declared the signing of Maxi Gomez from fellow La Liga club Celta Vigo. The striker has signed a last-minute bargain at Mestalla, using a release clause set at $140 million (Number 125m/$158m).
The deal, which is worth an initial $14m (#12.5m/$15.8m) deal sees Spanish ahead Santi Mina move from another direction, returning to his former team after four seasons off.
