12 Jun Juarez Liga MX team: Lobos BUAP affirm plans to move northwest, assume Bravos title
The boundary town will have its original team at the upper division since 2010, together with Bravos’ possession buying the Puebla club
Liga MX is coming to Juarez, although not in how fans would have anticipated.
The town on the border with El Paso, Texas, has not had a first-division team because Indios went down following the Bicentenario 2010 tournament. A second-division side called FC Juarez started in 2015, falling just short of advertising on a range of events and ending as the Copa MX runner-up this past year.
This club, or at the very least a club using the exact same Bravos de Juarez individuality, will play Liga MX in the 2019 Apertura with Lobo BUAP moving north to assume that their individuality.
“Club Lobos BUAP will alter website for the Apertura 2019 championship into the state of Chihuahua, turning in the Bravos of Ciudad Juarez,” read a Lobos statement published Tuesday. “Because of this, it is essential for us as supervisors to thank the fans for their valiant aid in the top branch during both of these decades, to everybody who had been a part of the project – by training Builders, players, team and maybe even everyone in an indirect way.”

Queretaro must have been relegated in 2013 however, the team at Chiapas relocated there while the team established in San Luis transferred to Chiapas. That left lovers in San Luis with no team. La Piedad, the team place to be encouraged, also was bought and folded. Regardless of Lobos moving, Puebla still has a first-division club with Club Puebla currently the sole Liga MX team from the colonial town of 1.5 million only east of Mexico City. A brand new team at San Luis Potosi, Atletico San Luis, made marketing this spring.
Lobos BUAP must have gone down to the next branch in 2018 however, together with the Ascenso winner that year not fulfilling the initial branch’s needs, managed to pay a good to stay in the upper branch. This season’s relegated team, Veracruz, chosen into exactly the same, also Liga MX will possess 19 teams at the upcoming season.
