The Italian is convinced that his side can overturn a 2-0 deficit and remove Arsenal in the Europa League quarter-finals

Carlo Ancelotti known as on Napoli to show”courage, intellect and enthusiasm” when they bid to conquer Arsenal from the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday.

“We shall put all of our enthusiasm into [Thursday] using a great deal of intensity since it’ll be a fantastic opportunity for us. Our mindset needs to be optimistic. I’m sure all of the air will help people with fire.

“We need the game to endure for 90 moments, and much more if it’s possible. This doesn’t mean we must score later 30, 10 or 15 minutes) We would like to maintain our chances living by being confident and smart.

“We’re the only Italian team abandoned in Europe and we need it to be the same on Friday. If that is not true it will simply be due to the outcomes rather than due to our drama. Napoli will perform great. I believe we could qualify.”

Ancelotti pointed to Ajax beating Serie A champions Juventus in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday as an illustration of how European football can go contrary to expectations.

“This [Juve] match teaches us that the Champions League and European clashes generally are always inconsistent,” he explained.

“Favourites could be removed even if they perform well, only 1 error in one minute and condemn one to conquer.

“Juventus neglected at the second half of their next leg, the most significant part the tie. It is not surprising. That’s that the Champions League.”
