25 Jul Chelsea transfer information: Midfielder Lewis Baker joins Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan
The 24-year old, who invested temporary bouts with Leeds and Reading last year, heads into the Bundesliga outfit to its 2019-20 effort
Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker has combined Fortuna Dusseldorf on a season-long loan, linking Ethan Ampadu as the newest face deemed surplus to requirements under new manager Frank Lampard.
The 24-year old spent the 2018-19 campaign from Stamford Bridge using 2 distinct temporary bouts, spending some time at the Championship with both Leeds and Reading.
The Blues are contending with a transfer ban, departing Lampard, who triumphed Maurizio Sarri at the hot chair in the London club after the Italian’s departure, with limited choices in his first year in charge.
The prior Derby boss has fielded quite a few youngsters throughout pre-season thus far, such as former Rams loanee Mason Mount, but Baker has made one restricted look.
