20 Apr Bayern Munich: Kovac will not hurry Neuer back from newest accident
Manuel Neuer won’t be hurried back into the Bayern Munich team following his most recent injury blow, states Niko Kovac.
Neuer was ruled out for 2 weeks after sustaining a calf injury in Bayern’s last match, a Bundesliga win over Fortuna Dusseldorf.
He’s so out for Saturday’s home league match against Werder Bremen, in addition to the DFB-Pokal semi-final away to the exact same resistance four days afterwards.
Sven Ulreich is based on deputise for Neuer, as he did during last year when the Bayern captain had been sidelined long-term using a foot injury.

“If he is not 100 percent match, he won’t play, we’ve [Jerome] Boateng, [Niklas] Sule is suspended from the cup, so we’re hooked on Mats.
“James has difficulty with his adductors, he is not certain if he can perform, besides Arjen Robben are fit.
“[Corentin] Tolisso is making great strides and we must find out whether he plays this year, based on exactly what others do.”
Bayern have listed 18 directly wins in all competitions against Bremen, who haven’t prevented defeat in this fixture because 2010.

Kovac’s side can have a massive step towards a national double by extending which run farther, but Kovac is demanding full attention on staying free from name rivals Borussia Dortmund.
“We just think about the Bundesliga game against Werder,” Kovac added. “The DFB-Pokal is much further away and we are going to draw the necessary conclusions in the very first game.
