Antoine Griezmann has stated the time was appropriate to combine Barcelona after finishing a long-awaited change from Atletico Madrid.
The France forward has signed a last-minute bargain following Barca consented to activate his $120 million (#107m/$134m) discharge clause.
Griezmann was apparently set to join Barca at the summer of 2018 just to affirm during a television documentary that he was remaining at Atletico.
The 28-year old forward signed a fresh contract with Atletico shortly after, but reports surfaced in the second half of this 2018-19 effort he was hoping for one more opportunity to combine the Liga winners.
Along with the attacker confessed that U-turn in his first public remarks since getting a Barca player on Friday, saying that he had been educated as a kid that chances can come .
“If I was a boy, my father taught me that trains do not come around only once,” Griezmann stated in a video posted on Twitter by Barcelona.
“Now it is time to choose on the battle of a destination. Finallyour paths cross.
“I will defend the Barca colors with my determination and dedication. It is our time.”
